Surface Area of Cylinders

Cylinder surface area includes two circular bases plus the curved side.

Formula: SA = 2πr^2 + 2πrh Parts: - 2πr^2 : top and bottom circles - 2πrh : lateral (curved) area Example: r=3, h=8 SA = 2π(3^2) + 2π(3)(8) SA = 18π + 48π = 66π Approx 207.3 square units
