Round Decimals
Rounding decimals uses the same idea as whole-number rounding: look one place to the right.
Do this: Read the concept below, then try the quiz or activity.

Concept
Steps: 1. Choose the place to round to. 2. Check the digit to the right. 3. 5 or more -> round up; 4 or less -> keep. 4. Digits to the right become zero (or are dropped in decimal form).
Examples: - 7.386 rounded to tenths -> 7.4 - 12.149 rounded to hundredths -> 12.15 - 0.994 rounded to tenths -> 1.0
