๐ŸŽฏ How to Subtract on a Number Line: 1. Start at the bigger number 2. Jump backward (left) the number you're subtracting 3. Where you land is your answer!

๐Ÿธ Think of it Like a Frog: Imagine a frog sitting on number 8. If it jumps backward 5 times, where does it land? 8 โ†’ 7 โ†’ 6 โ†’ 5 โ†’ 4 โ†’ 3 The frog lands on 3! So 8 - 5 = 3

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Count backward on your fingers! Hold up the starting number, then fold down fingers as you subtract.
