Addition Sentences: Which is True?
⚖️ Be the judge of the math court! Not every math sentence is telling the truth. You must use the equals sign to smoke out the imposters.

Concept
An equation is only true if both sides of the equals sign (=) have exactly the same value! It's like a balanced seesaw.
🎯 Spotting the Fakes: Look at this sentence: 7 + 4 = 10 1. Solve the left side: 7 + 4 = 11. 2. Look at the right side: It says 10. 3. Does 11 = 10? No! The seesaw is broken! This sentence is FALSE.
Look at this sentence: 8 + 5 = 13 1. Solve the left side: 8 + 5 = 13. 2. Look at the right side: It says 13. 3. Does 13 = 13? Yes! The seesaw is perfectly balanced! This sentence is TRUE.
