Concept

Interpreting a table is exactly like interpreting a graph! The only difference is that tables use real numbers (like "4") instead of pictures (like ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ) or tallies.

๐ŸŽฏ How to Interpret: Look at our Favorite Fruit table:

We can use the table to answer questions! * Which is most popular? Look for the biggest number in the right column! The number is 5. Track left to the fruit column: It's Bananas! * How many friends took the survey? Add all the numbers in the right column together! (3 + 5 + 1 = 9 friends).
