Count Forward - Up to 100

āž”ļø Let's master the number path! Counting up to 100 is just like regular counting, you just have to remember how to "turn the corner" into the next group of tens.

Lesson 2

Concept

Do you know the trick to counting into big numbers? You just have to know your tens! šŸŽÆ **The 0-9 Pattern:** Every single group of tens does exactly the same thing. They all count up from 0 to 9 in the "ones" place. * Twenty-1, Twenty-2, Twenty-3... Twenty-9! * Fifty-1, Fifty-2, Fifty-3... Fifty-9! šŸŽÆ **Turning the Corner:** The only tricky part is knowing what word comes AFTER the number that ends in 9. You have to "turn the corner"! * What is after 29? **Thirty** (30). * What is after 39? **Forty** (40). * What is after 49? **Fifty** (50)... followed by 60, 70, 80, 90, 100! If you know the order of those big "Tens" words, you can easily count all the way to 100.
