Lesson 106 of 186

Concept

Putting a giant list of numbers in order takes patience.

🎯 The Sorting Strategy: List: [450, 412, 608, 480] Order them from Least (Smallest) to Greatest (Biggest).

1. Find the absolute smallest: Look at all the Hundreds digits. (4, 4, 6, 4). The 6 is the biggest, so save that for last.
2. Break the Ties: We have three numbers starting with 4. Look at their Tens!
   * 450 (Has 5).
   * 412 (Has 1).
   * 480 (Has 8).
3. Sort the Ties: 412 is the smallest! Then 450. Then 480.
4. Final Order: 412, 450, 480, 608.

Always cross the numbers off the original list lightly with your pencil so you don't use the same number twice!
