Concept
Word problems for 3-digits are exactly the same as Level 1. You just have to be incredibly careful when you stack them.
π― The "Empty Air" Warning: Story: "A giant container has 642 marbles. Bob takes exactly 38 marbles out. How many are left?"
1. Clue: "Left" / "Takes out" = Subtract. 2. The Stack: You MUST push the 38 all the way to the Right side (Ones/Tens). If you put the 3 under the 6, it will think you meant 300! 6 4 2 - 3 8 --------- (See the empty air under the 6? That is an invisible zero!).
