Lesson 142 of 186

Concept

If your pocket is exploding because you have 10 pennies in it... go to the bank and exchange it for 1 Dime! Your pocket is lighter, but you didn't lose any money.

🎯 The Rules of Exchange: * 5 Pennies (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) => Trade for 1 Nickel (5). * 10 Pennies => Trade for 1 Dime (10) (Or 2 Nickels! 5+5). * 2 Dimes + 1 Nickel (10+10+5) => Trade for 1 Quarter (25). * 4 Quarters (25, 50, 75, 100) => Trade for $1.00 Bill.

If you have a picture of 2 Dimes... you can cross them out and draw four Nickels (5,10,15,20). It means the exact same thing!
