Lesson 85 of 186

Concept

Because we have three different sizes of measurement (Inches, Feet, Yards), we get to choose the smartest one to use.

🎯 Choosing the Best Tool: 1. Inches (Small things): A pencil, a cell phone, a book, a butterfly. (If it fits easily in your two hands, use inches!). 2. Feet (Medium things): A person, a bicycle, a doorway, a room. (If you can walk it in a few steps, use feet!). 3. Yards (Huge things): A football field, the distance across a playground, the length of an airplane. (If you have to sprint across it, use yards!).

Try it

Pick the perfect tool!
