When you add two single-digit numbers (like 8 + 7), the answer goes into the "teen" numbers. 🎯 **Ninja Strategies:** When you see a problem, pick your favorite ninja weapon: 1. **The Double Trick:** For 7 + 8... think "7 + 7 is 14. One more is 15!" 2. **The "Make 10" Trick:** For 9 + 5... think "Take 1 from the 5 to give to the 9. Now it's 10 + 4. That's 14!" 3. **The Count On Trick:** For 8 + 3... think "Grab 8... 9, 10, 11." You don't have to use fingers. Your brain is much faster!
