Squish Numbers Together - Up to Hundreds

šŸ„ž Stack the puzzle pieces! When someone gives you a list of place values, you just squish them into a perfect 3-digit number.

Lesson 1

Concept

This is reading blueprints and building the number. šŸŽÆ **The Number Builder Strategy:** "Build a number with 5 Hundreds, 8 Tens, and 2 Ones." 1. Start with the Hundreds. Write the **5**. 2. Write the Tens right next to it. Write the **8**. 3. Write the Ones right next to it. Write the **2**. 4. Squished: **582!** šŸŽÆ **The Invisible Zero Trap!** "Build a number with 4 Hundreds and 6 Ones." 1. Hundreds: Write the 4. 2. Tens: There are NO TENS LISTED in the sentence! You MUST put a **0**. 3. Ones: Write the 6. 4. Squished: **406**! (If you forgot the zero, you would write 46, which is totally wrong).
