The ultimate test. You have to switch between the Addition rules (Carry the +1 to the top) and Subtraction rules (Borrow from the neighbor, write a tiny 1!). šÆ **The Two Universes:** When you cross a plus (+) sign, you are in the **Addition Universe**: * Is it bigger than 9? Carry the 1! (+1). When you cross a minus (-) sign, you are in the **Subtraction Universe**: * Does it need help? Knock on the neighbor. Cross it out! Make it smaller! Give a 10! If you cross into the wrong universe, everything explodes.
