Digital clocks don't make you do any math. They just give you the answer! But you have to know how to read the words to match them. šÆ **Reading the Glowing Numbers:** **8:35** 1. **The Hour (Left side of the : )** -> **8**. "Eight". 2. **The Minutes (Right side of the : )** -> **35**. "Thirty-five". 3. **The Translation:** The time is "Eight thirty-five". šÆ **The Sneaky "Oh" Trick:** **4:05** When the minute is smaller than 10, it has a zero in front of it. We don't say "Four zero five". We say the zero like the letter O! "Four **oh** five!"
