A calendar looks like a spreadsheet. Let's read the grid! šÆ **How to read the Grid:** * **The Columns (Top to Bottom):** The days of the week! (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday). * **The Cells:** The numbered boxes inside the grid. (1, 2, 3... 31). **The Question:** "What day of the week is October 15th?" 1. Find the giant number **15** in the boxes. 2. Put your finger on the 15. 3. Slide your finger STRIGHT UP until you hit the top of the column. 4. Read the word! It hit "Tuesday". 5. **Answer:** October 15th is a Tuesday!
