Concept

When we compare the sizes of things, we use special words.

๐ŸŽฏ Height (How Tall): When things stand up (like a tree, a person, or a building), we measure their height. * We use the words: Tall, Taller, Tallest or Short, Shorter, Shortest. * "The girrafe is taller than the zebra."

๐ŸŽฏ Length (How Long): When things lay flat on the ground (like a snake, a stick, or a road), we measure their length. * We use the words: Long, Longer, Longest or Short, Shorter, Shortest. * "The yellow pencil is longer than the blue pencil."

Important Rule: To compare two things, you MUST line up their starting points perfectly so it's a fair comparison!
