Lesson 87 of 180

Concept

A digital clock shows the time using numbers on a screen, like on a microwave, a phone, or in a car.

🎯 Reading the Digital Code: A digital clock has numbers on the left, a colon (the two dots : ), and numbers on the right. Example: [ 8 : 00 ] 1. The Hour: Look at the number on the left before the dots. This is the Hour. In this example, the hour is 8. 2. The Minutes: Look at the numbers on the right after the dots. This tells you the minutes. If it says "00", it means "o'clock"! 3. Read it out loud! This clock says "Eight o'clock".

Example: [ 10 : 30 ] * Hour: 10 * Minutes: 30 * Read it: "Ten thirty".
