Lesson 145 of 186

Concept

This is the most important real-world math you will ever learn. You must compare your Total against the Price Tag.

🎯 The Buying Check: 1. The Price Tag: The bouncy ball costs 62’. (The funny C with a line through it means Cents!). 2. Your Hand: You have 2 Quarters (50’) and 1 Dime (10’). 3. Your Total: 50 + 10 = 60’. 4. The Alligator Check: 60 is LESS THAN 62. (60 < 62). 5. Result: NOT ENOUGH MONEY! The cashier will not give you the toy!

You need exactly 62Β’ or MORE to buy the toy.

Try it

Pass the cashier's test!
