Lesson 31 of 186

Concept

You know how to read equal groups. Now let's practice writing them!

🎯 The "How Many, How Much" Strategy: When you see a picture, ask yourself two questions: 1. How Much? How many things are in just ONE group? (e.g. There are 5 fish in a bowl). That is your addition number! 2. How Many times? How many groups are there? (There are 3 bowls). That is how many times you write the number!

* Write the number "5" exactly 3 times! * 5 + 5 + 5 = ? * Add them up! 5+5 is 10. 10+5 is 15! * 5 + 5 + 5 = 15.
