Lesson 33 of 186

Concept

You know how to read an array. Now let's write the math!

🎯 The Row Strategy: 1. Count ONE row: Put your finger on the top row and count how many objects are in it. Let's say there are 5 stars. 2. Count the NUMBER of rows: How many rows go down the page? Let's say there are 4 rows. 3. Write the sentence: You are going to write the number "5", 4 times! 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 20.

Just follow the rows, write down the number for each row, and put plus signs between them!
