If you are going to compare lengths, you have to know which words mean big things, and which words mean small things! 🎯 **The Customary Size Guide:** 1. **Inch (in):** The smallest. About the length of a paperclip. 2. **Foot (ft):** Medium size. It is exactly 12 inches glued together. About the length of a real adult's foot (or a school ruler). 3. **Yard (yd):** The biggest! It is exactly 3 feet glued together (or 36 inches). About the length of a giant adult step, or a baseball bat. **Inch < Foot < Yard** So, if someone says "My car is 12 feet long, and your car is 12 inches long"... their car is a LOT bigger!
