Interpret Bar Graphs (Level II)
šµļøāāļø Advanced Analysis! You know how to read the height of a bar. Now it's time to do addition and subtraction using the bars themselves!
Concept
In Level 1, we just asked "How many voted for Green?". You follow the bar and say "8". Level 2 takes the kid gloves off. šÆ **The Multi-Step Questions:** **1. "How many MORE kids voted for Blue than Green?"** * Find Blue (15). Find Green (8). * "How many more" means DIFFERENCE (Subtract!). * Math: 15 - 8 = 7. (7 more kids voted Blue). **2. "How many kids voted IN TOTAL?"** * "In Total" means ADD EVERY SINGLE BAR TOGETHER. * Bar A (5) + Bar B (10) + Bar C (12) = ? * Stack em! 5 + 10 + 12 = 27 total kids voted!
