🦘 Hop, skip, jump! The frog is taking +10 leaps on the massive number line. Watch what happens to the Tens digit every jump!

Lesson 3

Concept

Skip counting by tens is the most useful skill for fast math. And it's easy, because the Hundreds and the Ones ALMOST never change! šŸŽÆ **The Tens Dial Pattern:** If you start at 342, and jump up by 10s... * Look at the 4 (the tens place). * Turn the dial up 1 tick! -> 5! * **342 -> 352 -> 362 -> 372**. * The 3 (hundreds) and 2 (ones) are totally frozen. Only the middle number shifts! šŸŽÆ **The Rollover Trap!** What happens at 392? * The TENS dial (9) rolls over to a 10! * That forces the HUNDREDS dial to click up! * **392 -> 402**. (The tens went to 0, the hundreds went up to 4!).

Try it
