šŸ¦ The Coin Swap! Look at the picture of the coins on the table. How can you trade them out for bigger, shinier coins without losing any money?

Lesson 3

Concept

If your pocket is exploding because you have 10 pennies in it... go to the bank and exchange it for 1 Dime! Your pocket is lighter, but you didn't lose any money. šŸŽÆ **The Rules of Exchange:** * **5 Pennies** (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) => Trade for **1 Nickel (5)**. * **10 Pennies** => Trade for **1 Dime (10)** (Or 2 Nickels! 5+5). * **2 Dimes + 1 Nickel** (10+10+5) => Trade for **1 Quarter (25)**. * **4 Quarters** (25, 50, 75, 100) => Trade for **$1.00 Bill**. If you have a picture of 2 Dimes... you can cross them out and draw four Nickels (5,10,15,20). It means the exact same thing!
