š¦ The Coin Swap! Look at the picture of the coins on the table. How can you trade them out for bigger, shinier coins without losing any money?
Concept
If your pocket is exploding because you have 10 pennies in it... go to the bank and exchange it for 1 Dime! Your pocket is lighter, but you didn't lose any money. šÆ **The Rules of Exchange:** * **5 Pennies** (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) => Trade for **1 Nickel (5)**. * **10 Pennies** => Trade for **1 Dime (10)** (Or 2 Nickels! 5+5). * **2 Dimes + 1 Nickel** (10+10+5) => Trade for **1 Quarter (25)**. * **4 Quarters** (25, 50, 75, 100) => Trade for **$1.00 Bill**. If you have a picture of 2 Dimes... you can cross them out and draw four Nickels (5,10,15,20). It means the exact same thing!
